hahaha its much more a pain doing what you want to do than the casette thing, plus it will degrade the quality of the sound, yes there are adapters but it depends on what car stereo you have so which one do you have?
Car stereo / player with cassette AND a CD player?
Maybe buy another OEM unit that has them both, I see a lot of factory decks with tape deck and CD, but I don't think I've seen an aftermarket one that does both. Or you could buy a nice cassette stereo that has the controls for a CD changer.
