What you describe may have more to do with how they are wired than the box they're in, unless the box was ported. Putting the subs in the wrong box can damage subs.
I checked them out. A couple of concerns. these enclosures didn't indicate the port diameter and length. Most subwoofers that are placed in ported enclosures are pretty sensitive about port length and diameter. Those kickers work well with specifical...
